Team HCP Relay for Life Update:

Thank you for your support for Team HCP at our local Relay for Life event. With your help, we were able to raise over $4,700 for the American Cancer Society.

Relay for Life - A Team Event to Fight Cancer

Team HCP is joining the fight for the cure on Friday, June 9, 2017

We are excited and proud to be walking as part of Health Connect Partners' team at the Relay for Life walk in Lebanon, TN next Friday - June 9, from 6pm to midnight. 

This journey is something that I am actively involved with for HCP. I lost a great industry friend recently. I told him that we would conquer this nasty disease together and that we would win. Sadly, I did not hold up my end of the deal. But I made up my mind that I would find another way to help. As the Team Captain, I am charging hard to making our first Relay for Life team walk a successful event. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. These events are powerful opportunities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember lost loved ones, and put some personal action into the fight against this nasty disease.

Donations are used to fund life-saving cancer research, patient support services, prevention and education information, and detection and treatment programs. In addition to the funding raised for cancer research grants, last year the funds raised from relays provided 456 thousand nights of free lodging to patients at Hope Lodge, and over 1.2 million calls / chats from patients and caregivers seeking info and support. The events also raise awareness of the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and patient support.

“The new format allows twice as much networking and relationship building with half as much time spent out of the office. Attendees from both conferences are together for the networking events, such as meals, hospitality suites and dinner and entertainment evenings. But we structure each agenda so each conference is able to maintain dedicated focus on their target audience during most of the education and reverse expo sessions. It’s a new model for us within the last year, but it’s been incredibly successful so far. We are very excited about the potential.”
